Alex graduated from Leeds University in 2010 with a degree in Sociology & Social Policy and commenced his insurance career the following year with SSL Insurance Brokers. Over 8 years at SSL, Alex gained significant broking experience across several disciplines including Hull, Cargo, Specie, Liabilities and Aviation in the London market. He joined Tigermar’s team in London in 2019 and plays a pivotal role in the placement of our risks across several business lines from all over the world.

Something of a gentle giant, Alex is known for his personable nature but equally for his tenacity and persistence in bringing a placement together. Given his broad experience and skillset, there are very few Tigermar accounts that Alex has not been involved with.

Outside of work, Alex is a keen sports fan. He has an impressive ability to recall stats and facts from across the sporting spectrum – a skill which transfers well into his work life and makes him very difficult to argue with.
