Our People

Fred Graduated from Leeds University in 2010 with a degree in Business and Financial Economics. His insurance career began at Newman Martin and Buchan in London, and he quickly graduated to become a core member of their marine team in a client and market facing role. He joined Tigermar’s London office in 2016 before moving out to Singapore in 2019.

Fred is now one of our most senior brokers with experience of working with blue chip shipping and energy clients from across the globe, but particularly Asia. He is a specialist in voyage risks and complex projects which often require a higher degree of risk engineering. He takes a lead role on some of our most challenging placements.

Fred is a keen sportsman and there are very few sports that he does not play. A ‘jack of all trades’ or ‘master of none’? His contribution to Singapore’s ever-increasing stock of jungle golf balls would suggest the latter is probably more accurate.
