A client came to us looking for cover for their samples which were taken from the seabed to then test and report. We developed a bespoke policy for the reconstitution of samples, to cover their exposure in the case they were lost. There was no prior existing product that met their needs, and we developed a completely bespoke solution with an underwriter, devising the wording, policy and cover as a one-off project specific contract.
This project highlights our ability to respond to, and knowledge of non-standard specialty risks, crucially, enabled by our close relationship with Underwriters and understanding of Offshore and Subsea risks.
